The subject of the speech was "The quality and the innovation of packaging design as marketing tools"

A two-day convention dedicated exclusively to packaging, labeling, and promotion of products, encapsuled by an exciting demonstration program, characterized by discussions, workshops and lectures, offering participants and visitors the opportunity to experience new trends, innovations, applications of the future and the latest developments in the packaging, label, flexible packaging, and carton applications, was held on May 11th and 12th, 2018, at Thessaloniki.

Plastimak, both as a sponsor of Pack & Label Days 2018 and as a prominent supplier of flexible packaging materials, participated and contributed in the conference.  

"Innovation is not limited to new creations but is also achieved through the use of pre-existing technologies in new ways." In particular, as Domestic Sales Manager Mr. Giannis Mintsios analyzed, in the form of a case study, new or even pre-existing applications can lead to innovations in the packaging, while reducing the cost  and developing the product's market recognition and awareness. The Doypack package served as an example, illustrating its ability to replace glass jars which are traditionally used by a number of producers.
